The Habitat exhibit area at the Center was designed for the purpose of habitat education related to the four main environments of Ocean Shores.  These four consist of the ocean, the near shore and dunes, marshes and waterways, and coastal forests.  Always a favorite spot for visitors, the cohesive habitat exhibits include extensive wildlife and bird displays featuring all of the many species found in the coastal area.  A display featuring bird flyway migration information has recently been moved into this area.

Adjacent to the habitat exhibit area is a learning activities room.  When Center renovations and updates are completed during this off-season, the room will again offer a variety of hands-on experiences for children to learn by reading, watching DVDs, explore artifacts and engage in art activities.
