Our updated and improved web site! Featuring experiments, walking tours, and stories! Stay tuned!

Because of concerns over COVID-19, the Coastal Interpretive Center will be closed to the public until at least the end of this calendar year.  However, while the building may be closed, we can still satisfy our mission of educating the public about our amazing Washington coast; we just need to get creative.  We are working on "outside of the building" programing including small group tours of the Center grounds and outlying areas, along with short video clips and activities for the website.  Stay tuned for what we will come up with over the next several weeks and months.  Follow us on Facebook for the latest details!

We appreciate your support and welcome donations to help us sustain our staff and keep the Center afloat. Not being open for visitors will be taking a big bite out of our "through the door" donations that we so depend on. If you would like to help us with a special donation, please visit our donations page at The page offers several ways that you can make your donation. Thank you!

Staff will be available at the Center during the week to answer calls and if needed, allow for a purchase from our bookstore. Please call 360-289-4617 for more details.

There are continuing needs in the areas of Rainfall Watch, Strategic Planning, and Science- or Education- Volunteers
